Pat's studio/workshop, Sanctuary Creative Works, is located in a 121 year old
Victorian church, in Hillsdale, just west of Hwy. 93 on Mill Street. This location
will feature
5 diverse, popular artists: Mabel Heyd, painter, Ingie
Gould, doll maker, Anne McAdam, jewelry maker, Catherine Wilson, hand weaver and
Pat herself, a children's book illustrator, greeting and note card maker and
maskmaker.
Both Pat and Mabel also display their delightfully unusual
art cards, one of which is Pat's 'Rooster Design' for the Studio Tour, in a variety of colour renderings of other animals and insects
and proportional configurations.
The location is evocative and
inspiring, the garden, wild and jungle-like with plenty of places where one can
sit and contemplate the universe,your existence, your navel or whatever. Free-trade coffee and other yummy treats will be served, along with the diversity of original creations
