This is Mary Ann Tully's 6th year on the Coldwater and Area Studio Tour.
Mary Ann is a visual storyteller. Her rich, vibrant watercolours reveal the beauty in everyday life, across cultures and in the human heart. Textured, 3-D acrylic works capture the mystery of fossils and explore our connection with the ancient past.
The gardens surrounding her log home provide another canvas for Mary Ann's love of colour. The unique setting of the house - the forest of Oro-Medonte Township - is protected by a conservation easement held by the Couchiching Conservancy. Her studio's name, "Wenrio", comes from a Huron word which means "in a grove of cedars".
Prints on canvas and paper are for sale in addition to her originals. A variety of cards are also available.
