L0L 1V0 (705) 835-3438                                               mea@netscape.ca www.meaarts.org                                 Mabel Heyd is a visual artist specializing in watercolour, acrylic and oil paintings and has been actively involved in showing and selling her works for the past fifteen years.  She is an Honour's Graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design in Fine Arts, Drawing and Painting and a Graduate of York University. Mabel is also an accomplished teacher of fine arts and has taught at such venues as the Grand Manan Art Camp in New Brunswick, Sanctuary Creative Works and most recently  the Parks and Recreation Department for the City of Barrie. She offers a wide variety of courses in watercolour, oils and acrylics and will conduct classes for small groups in their choice of disciplines. She expresses and explores the landscapes of her rural surroundings through the seasons and is focussed on the natural world as a source of inspiration.
