I have had a life long passion for textiles of all kinds: sewing, quilting, costume design, knitting, embroidery, I am fascinated by colour, especially the colours in nature.

I am influenced by our farm, the forest, trees, leaves, wild flowers. . Much of my recent work has centered around leaves, and the colour of leaves.

I love making bags and scarves. These small projects allow much more freedom to explore different textures and colours. I re-use denims, woolens, buttons, trims and anything else that might look good

Because I could not find the colours I wanted to make some scarves, I decided to start dying wools and silks. And, that led to dying silks and painting on silks, my current passion. I so look forward to sharing them with you.
